We decided to go to a vigil in Dupont and needed to find somewhere quick to eat, and we were about to go someplace I never in my wildest dreams thought would appear on the pages of this website: McDonald’s. As it turns out that would have been the better choice, as we instead ended up going to Pasha’s Kitchen on 17th Street, where we really should have ordered a kabob, but since it was warm outside I thought it would be better to go with pizza. The thin crust had the sour taste of mozzarella, and the toppings were arranged in such a fashion that semi-melted lumps of cheese were attached to slices of baked prosciutto. There was raw arugula all over the pizza, which I always appreciate, but it wasn’t worth it.
